The Sunday Fave with Ellen Beth Abdi and Dr. Santos

The Sunday Fave is an easy-going afternoon of live music to round off the weekend. Settle into the beautiful surroundings of Ullet Road Church for two wonderful solo performances from Ellen Beth Abdi and Dr. Santos. Mancunian music-maker Ellen Beth Abdi uses live loops, pokey drums, undulating synths and quietly subversive lyrics to mould her unique sound. ‘Wonky soul-infused pop with a social conscience’. Dr. Santos is the new Brazilian Psych Pop project from Brighton based guitarist, Luís Santos - his silky deep baritone will treat whatever ails you! Self-described as “Music for Sensitive Souls”. Dr. Santos is for fans of classic Brazilian Popular Music, Tropicália and old school Funk & Soul. Whether you're coming with friends, family or flying solo, everyone is welcome. Children come free, there's an affordable bar, and a friendly atmosphere that makes for the perfect way to ease into Sunday evening.
