Flat Venus + Nancy Dunnell @ Space Studios

Returning to Space Studios we are honoured to welcome back Flat Venus. Formed from a group of close friends, Norwich-based Flat Venus are a quintet inspired by the dream-pop and folk band scene of the 90s. With a wistful and foreboding approach to their harmony-heavy tunes, the group specialise in vulnerable lyrics and spaced-out, jangly guitar riffs, while also dipping their toes into the heavier side. They are proudly releasing ‘Floorboards’ on August 27th, a 90s-inspired rock song that sits in the space between nostalgia and momentum, where lush melodies meet gritty undercurrents. With support from Nancy Dunnell. This show is run by PlatformNorwich and supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
