BAGWORM

A surreal and darkly comic debut shot on 16mm about a man facing an existential meltdown that may have been caused by stepping on a rusty nail. Carroll is a paranoid, sexually frustrated hammer salesman who is convinced the world is coming to an end. When he accidentally steps on a rusty nail, his life starts to spiral in increasingly unhinged ways as he questions whether the universe really has it out for him or whether it’s all just grotesque hallucinations caused by this putrid infection.
